I’m Ines, the creative behind New Life Studio, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’ve been photographing local families since 2020, and before anything else, I’m a mum. I know how quickly these seasons pass and how important it is to hold onto them.

I’m passionate about creating natural, timeless portraits that reflect this stage of life in an honest and simple way. Whether we’re in my cosy home studio in Mount Maunganui, at your place, or outdoors in nature, I want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed throughout your session from start to finish.

I miss those days.

Newborn Maternity Famimy Photographer Tauranga

My sessions are slow and baby led 🤍

We stop for feeds. We cuddle. We wait. There’s no rushing your newborn or complicated, uncomfortable poses.

You don’t have to “have it together.” You just show up… tired, in love, exactly as you are.

That’s how it goes. Calm. Gentle. Relaxed.

I’ve been photographing this family for a few years now, and this was easily the most special one yet.

Grandparents, an aunty, and a cousin all visiting from different parts of the world, all in the same place for a short window of time. Nothing fancy. Just being together and what a fun session it was!

Wrapping up this year feeling so grateful.

Thank you to every family who trusted me to preserve their memories and invited me into your lives, even just for a little while. Being chosen to document these seasons is something I never take for granted.

I hope these Christmas days have felt warm and gentle.

I had a really sweet Christmas Eve. back in Argentina it's the main celebration. This one was one full of gratitude for the moments and for the friends here who have become family.

The 25th, was harder. My first Christmas in a new reality, and without Luka for most of the day. It held everything though. Beautiful moments in between, a hug exactly when I needed it, dancing it all out alone, and later the beach with kind, easygoing people. This end of the year feels like a mix of it all… letting myself feel and holding my own heart

Big hug, and may 2026 begin with good energy for all of us 🙌🫶

Catching up on sessions I never got to share earlier this year… and this one from May couldn’t be skipped.

We finished their maternity session with a little bit of rain and instead of rushing or worrying, they just leaned into it. Laughing, holding each other close and having fun with it.

Proof that it doesn’t have to be perfect to feel really special 🤍

POV… when a bunch of your friends get together to gift you something you didn't know you needed

This session was second time lucky.
The first one we had to cancel five minutes before because of unexpected rain. Since the three of us were already there and the location was right across from an ice cream shop, they invited me in. We ate ice cream under the footpath ceiling… watched the rain… talked babies (slightly embarrassing how much I love that topic 😆)

Fast-forward to today we became friends and if you can’t already tell… they’re beautiful inside and out.

What a special gift from colleges and friends.

It’s the kind of thing you look at years from now and remember exactly how these days felt.

And Koa… this little guy rocked his session. He was following the camera with his eyes right from the start. What a little Honey!😁🥰 ✨️

The nerves of welcoming all of you guys at my own place, my studio, after hours and hours of putting all of this together with much dedication and love. It was all woth it! Thank you all for coming! My cup is full 🙌✨️🤍

First thing I say to siblings joining newborn photos is "this is a celebration of you becoming big brother/sister, welcome!" Because it is. What a special moment to capture those first moments together.

I had the honour to capture this family right from the start. From Eros a being few days old to becoming the best proud big brother to his sister Iris who I captured since she was confortable in mummy's belly 💙

“My baby is already 4 weeks… is it too late for newborn photos?”

Not at all. Those first few weeks look different for every family.

Every story begins its own way… some babies spend a little extra time in the NICU, some families need space to rest and adjust, and sometimes life just unfolds differently than planned.

After the two- to three-week mark, your little one might be more alert, a little rounder, already showing those early hints of personality, the curious eyes that lock onto yours, the way they settle when they hear your voice.

Your session might have fewer sleepy poses… and more snuggles, more stretches, more connection.
